Ozone generator introduction
An ozone generator is a device used to produce ozone gas (O3). Ozone is prone to decomposition and cannot be stored. It needs to be produced on-site for use (in special circumstances. It can be stored for a short period of time). So any place where ozone can be used needs to use an ozone generator. Ozone generators are widely used in fields such as drinking water, wastewater, industrial oxidation, food processing and preservation, pharmaceutical synthesis, and space sterilization. The ozone gas produced by the ozone generator can be directly utilized or mixed with liquid through a mixing device to participate in the reaction.
Nature of Ozone
Ozone is an unstable gas with strong oxidizing properties. And its output concentration is influenced by various factors, among which chamber temperature is one of the most important factors. Ozone will decay by half within 1 minute at around 30 degrees Celsius. Attenuation reaches 80% at 40-50 ℃. Ozone will decompose immediately above 60 ℃. Ozone production refers to the amount of ozone produced by an ozone generators per unit time. The product of the ozone concentration value and the total amount of gas entering the ozone generator is the ozone production. Usually expressed in units such as mg/h, g/h, and kg/h. The standard for ozone generators specifies that the specifications and models of ozone generators are represented and distinguished by ozone production. Small ozone generators use g/h as the unit. While large ozone generators use kg/h as the unit to distinguish the size of specifications.
