PEM hydrogen generator is used to generate more than 99.999% purity hydrogen.It produce hydrogen by world advanced PEM(proton exchange membrane) hydrogen tech.no need add any alkaline material,only use pure water. the product hydrogen can be used as gas chromatography (GC) carrier gas and fuel gas for flame ionisation detectors (FID) or flame photometric detectors (FPD). It is ideal equipment to replace regular gas cylinders in lab.

HOW PEM hydrogen generator WORKS
The hydrogen generation systems use a platinum catalyst and PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane )technology to split deionized water into its constituent parts.
When a DC voltage is applied to the electrolyzer, water molecules at the anode are oxidized to oxygen and protons, while electrons are released. The protons (H+ ions) pass through the PEM to the cathode where they meet electrons from the other side of the circuit, reducing to hydrogen gas.
